Use it when setting or changing a price, a plan or packaging.

A skill is a working playbook — how to review a pipeline deal by deal, close the month so the numbers hold, read an ad account without double-counting. Each one was written around a specific way the work goes wrong, and the agent loads it when the task calls for it. Every one we ship is below.

1 roleRead morePicking a number off cost-plus or a competitor screenshot, then discovering the value metric was the real decision. Also: repricing existing customers silently, which costs more in churn than the increase earns.
Discovering churn from the cancellation. By the time the cancel arrives the decision is weeks old, and the signals that predicted it were all present and unwatched.
A discount given because it was asked for, which reprices the account permanently and teaches every future negotiation that the list price is a starting bid.
Treating an approved draft as an approved LIST. The recipients need approving too, and a send split into smaller calls to stay under a threshold is the same violation twice.
Pitching an upgrade to everybody, which converts nobody and costs the trust of the accounts that were doing fine.
Analysing the loss reason recorded in the CRM. That field holds the rep's account of a decision they were not present for, and it disagrees with what the buyer says often enough that a strategy built on it is optimising against a fiction.
A "just checking in" sequence sent to a list nobody has segmented, which trains the recipient to ignore the sender and burns the address for the moment there is something real to say.
A 40-slide deck nobody opens on a call. Enablement fails on retrievability under pressure, not on completeness, and a document written to be comprehensive is written for the wrong moment.
Presenting weighted pipeline as a forecast. Stage-probability weighting is arithmetic on optimism and reliably produces a number that has never once been hit.
Answering yes to everything answerable. A questionnaire answer is a contractual representation that outlives the deal, and the yes that wins a bid becomes the finding in a customer audit eighteen months later, when nobody remembers who wrote it.
Diagnosing motivation from a number. A rep behind on quota has a stage where deals stop, and the stage is findable; "needs to be hungrier" is a verdict that cannot be acted on and cannot be wrong.
Adding a free tier to a product that needs a person to explain it, which fills the funnel with users who never reach value and produces a support load with no revenue attached.
Splitting accounts evenly by count. Equal account numbers produce wildly unequal opportunity, so the outcome is read as a performance difference between people when it was a design difference between patches.
A prep doc assembled from the company website and a generic discovery framework, which produces questions the prospect has already answered twice and burns the first ten minutes of the call.
Producing a quote whose price came from nowhere and whose scope is a paragraph. An unbounded scope with a firm number is the origin of most delivery disputes, and the discount given to close it is permanent because the next renewal starts from it.
Gating the feature that demonstrates the value, so the free user never experiences the reason to pay and the upgrade prompt argues with somebody who has no evidence.
Reporting total pipeline value as the story. The total is dominated by deals nobody has touched in a month, and it goes up when reps stop closing.
Starting the renewal conversation inside the notice window, when the only remaining lever is a discount.
Treating an account as healthy because nobody has complained. Silence from a single-threaded account is the strongest churn signal there is, and an account plan written the month before renewal is a rescue.
